Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
In your initial session, our main focus is on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship. Building rapport is key to achieving positive treatment outcomes, and we value getting to know you better. During this session, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment to gain a clear understanding of how we can best support you on your journey. This initial assessment typically takes between 60 to 90 minutes.
In subsequent sessions, we shift our focus to achieving your goals. Your therapy objectives will be person-centered, ensuring they are personalized, measurable, and specific to the outcomes you aim for during your treatment. Session durations may vary, typically ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. Each session is geared towards finding solutions and might include homework assignments to practice the skills we discuss. Our role is to guide, challenge, and motivate you to become the best version of yourself. Expect each session to bring hope, empowerment, and tailored challenges to help you grow.

Everyone seeks therapy for their own reasons. We believe that everyone may need extra support from time to time. Therapy should be looked upon as entering a neutral, non-judgmental environment that is there to assist anyone who may be going through life challenges. Therapy should be considered self-care, just as you would go to your physician and/or dentist for care of your body and teeth. Therapy is care for your mind.
